Engaging: Rachel & Roy

Rachel and Roy both attended Columbia University but it wasn't amongst the books where they met. The two first laid eyes on each other in the Miami heat during a softball game and are now wedding in San Diego. Their day will be filled with Jewish traditions and symbolic olive branches. There might have to be some rich chocolate thrown in there because this duo can't live without it! A big thank you to John Newsome for these lovely photos. Engaging: Courtney & Nate

When Courtney hears the song Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi, she is reminded of the countless nights she and Nate would spend together at their favorite bar while studying at Yale. It was the last song the bar would play every night and it now carries loving memories that will continue forever. When the two left Yale they gained more than an education, they gained each other. Now living in the heart of downtown Encinitas, this passionate duo is enjoying a San Diegan lifestyle. Acqua Photo did a great job capturing their love in these engagements! All were taken within walking distance of their hip new loft, giving faraway friends and family a peak into their new life together in this fun little beach town!

Engaging: Holly & Devyn

Holly and Devyn are one glamorous duo! Holly has a career in vocal performance, but it was her smile and laughter that her doctor fiancé fell in love with. Both have a strong love for the ocean and can be found cuddling up on the sand watching the sunset in the evenings. When we asked Holly if she had any guilty pleasures her response was kissing Devyn, too cute!  We love how their engagements by Brittany Dow show modern looks with vintage touches, just like their wedding will!

Engaging: Niki and Mark

The instant the song "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys begins to play our soon-to-be bride, Niki, immediately travels back in time to when she first met her fiancé in The Big Apple. Niki and Mark fell head over heels for each other amongst the bright lights of an inspiring city.  They feasted on the best of foods from restaurants like Alta and Yerba Buena which became their favorites. Niki became impressed by Mark's strong devotion to his family and friends, and Mark to Niki's supportive and kind spirit. Together they moved to the West Coast and now share a strong love for their playful Dachshund, Mini. Their puppy love radiates in these flirtatious engagement photographs shared by Ryan C. We could not be more thrilled for this duo. The planning process is underway for their beautifully fun July thirteenth wedding!

Engaging: Brittany + Zach

Brittany and Zack are a playful fun-spirited couple. They met at work and after a year of friendly flirting they finally made it into the dating phase, the question of who asked who out is questionable! Brittany and Zach are most similar to Claire and Phil Dunphy from the hit tv show Modern Family. Brittany is from Southern California and has an eye for style (just take a look at the shots of her home below!) and loves to blog.  Zach has lived all over the world and considers Oklahoma, Dubai and San Diego to all be home. He's a macho guy with a love for hunting, but we also love the other side to him which loves comic books. This duo ever so wonderfully complete each other and compliment each other like a gin & tonic. Their love is so visible and we love the way Jessica Kettle captured it.

What do they love most about each other?
B: He's a hunk! He's the ultimate gentleman, a total man's man but treats me like an ultimate princess. He is MY dream :)
Z: Brittany's laugh gets me every time. She has a great spirit and is always so energetic, thoughtful and loving. She's crazy, but she knows it!
