Engaging: Rachel & Roy

Rachel and Roy both attended Columbia University but it wasn't amongst the books where they met. The two first laid eyes on each other in the Miami heat during a softball game and are now wedding in San Diego. Their day will be filled with Jewish traditions and symbolic olive branches. There might have to be some rich chocolate thrown in there because this duo can't live without it! A big thank you to John Newsome for these lovely photos. Engaging: Connie and Chris

Looking back at their college years at UCSD, Connie and Chris are reminded of when they first met and fell in love. These two were immediately attracted to each other and shared a respect for hard work while also being able to set aside time to be playful and have fun! Their ideal way to spend a day together involves a coastal drive on winding roads, a picnic on a sailing boat, and ending the evening with a romantic dinner. This duo is seriously so sweet and Jacqueline from Birds of a Feather beautifully captured their sweet love in these engagements!

Engaging: Courtney & Nate

When Courtney hears the song Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi, she is reminded of the countless nights she and Nate would spend together at their favorite bar while studying at Yale. It was the last song the bar would play every night and it now carries loving memories that will continue forever. When the two left Yale they gained more than an education, they gained each other. Now living in the heart of downtown Encinitas, this passionate duo is enjoying a San Diegan lifestyle. Acqua Photo did a great job capturing their love in these engagements! All were taken within walking distance of their hip new loft, giving faraway friends and family a peak into their new life together in this fun little beach town!

Holly and Devyn are one glamorous duo! Holly has a career in vocal performance, but it was her smile and laughter that her doctor fiancé fell in love with. Both have a strong love for the ocean and can be found cuddling up on the sand watching the sunset in the evenings. When we asked Holly if she had any guilty pleasures her response was kissing Devyn, too cute!  We love how their engagements by Brittany Dow show modern looks with vintage touches, just like their wedding will!

Engaging: Mia & Scott

You are going to love our next couple! Mia and Scott are a kick back duo with a love as sweet as can be. Both share a love for secret handshakes, two pugs, summer fun, and sports (Scott is a TV Sports Producer). Beautiful on the inside and out they are like a celebrity couple with their own Brangelina like name combo, "Lemding". We are certain you are going to fall hard for these lovebirds after reading their story and viewing their ever so romantic engagements by SWOON by Katie!


About the Lemdings!
Scott and I met in the fall of 2007, on a Saturday at a USC tailgate party. It was a day we would never forget for many reasons; first of all, it was the day we met and second of all it was the day USC lost to Stanford with one of the biggest upsets in USC’s history. We were supposed to win by over 40 points and instead lost by more than 10.

It was puppy love at first sight and we both counted down the days until the next football game when we could see each other again. At the next game, Scott made sure to get my number and called that next day. We have been dating ever since.
We have always loved taking little vacations to Temecula and going wine tasting. We got engaged at Temecula Creek Inn on Friday, April 13and are looking forward to getting married there next summer!
