Bohemian Fiesta!

Our bride, Kristen, contacted Amorology to bring us in on her wedding as Day -Of Coordinators to help with set-up and manage the days events. We fell in love with her style, and although we rarely ever post weddings that we simply do day-of coordination on, every once in a while we come across a wedding that we just have to share! Kristen and Matt's was one such wedding! You may have seen this wedding floating around the bridal blogoshpere but we thought we would give you one more glance at some of the fun details that were incorporated into her wedding. Kristen is a graphic designer and pulled from a mixture of fun, quirky, and Mexican-inspired styles to create a very bohemian, detail-oriented wedding.

Fell in love with the paper flower in her hair...so much fun.

Guests were asked to take a set of maracas and shake them as the couple kissed for the first time as husband and wife. The guests really got into it! It was such a musical and touching moment to witness.

Kristen created these program fans herself!

The sign in table was also covered in handmade buttons Kristen put together. They had some really funny phrases on them like, "I went to Kirsten and Matt's wedding and all I got was this lousy button." The guests really enjoyed them!

I think this might be my favorite shot of the day. The way they are embracing is so real and so emotional. I love the way Daisy Varley Photography captured the light coming through the background... depticting the warmth of the moment.

Kristen's florist, Lily Pad Foral Desgin, took a variety of unique containers and vases that Kristen herself had gathered, and filled them with brightly colored bouquets of wildflowers and paper flowers and placed them along each of the tables. The boxed favors were placed on the blue cowboy dishes and filled with Mexican cascarones, which are eggs filled with confetti. A note inside the boxes instructed the guests to crack one over another's unsuspecting head. It's a Mexican tradition that is thought to bring luck and good fortune, and their guests definitely had fun with it!

The location was polka-dotted with amazing photo opportunities like an airstream trailer, a huge barn, rusty old cars and an old caravan. Daisy of Daisy Varley Photography did a great job of stealing away the couple and getting some amazing shots all over!

The guests also enjoyed the authentic taco bar and of course lots of cerveza.

Even though we were hard at work, it was impossible not to stop and stare at this incredibly gorgeous view.

From the paper flowers, maracas and bridesmaids dresses, to the freshly made tacos and mariachi music, this concept wedding was very well thought through. The guests really let loose and had a great time with all of the details. We really enjoyed getting to meet Kristen and Matt and had a great time helping her execute her bohemian, Mexican wedding!

I was admiring this wedding and realized it is the same place we got married! For those who were asking it is the Condor's Nest Ranch in Pala, CA. I highly recommend!

Would you mind sharing where the paper flowers for the arch came from? It is so hard to find non-cheesy looking.
