Real Wedding: Happy Campers

Erin & Casey have a happiness that is contagious! They are the kind of people that you can't wait to hear from and who's emails have a way of always brightening your day. Basically, Fun = Them! And so...what could we do but give them one of the most playful weddings ever to match their equally amazing and fun story?? Our happy campers found each other at 5th grade summer camp where they've shared some of their most fond memories together which gave us the best jumping off point for their big day!  Picnic blankets, lanterns, enamel mugs, wood benches, friendship bracelets, bingo, and a s'mores station were just a few of the details that rounded out the camp vibes for Erin + Casey's wedding.  So pull up a cot and kick back with some cocoa for the rest of this fun feature!

Twigg Botanicals designed a gorgeous bouquet of anemones, ranunculus, garden roses, and berries that our bride carried while their Grandma Beebe played the role of flower girl, who carried a thermos of petals to toss. How fun is that?

We loved creating this custom arbor that beautifully showcased the red bell that our couple had custom made from an old scuba tank with their established date. At the end of their vows, the officiant rang the bell as the couple kissed. Swoon!

What would camping be without a thermos full of hot cocoa? We couldn't resist creating a custom-built backdrop for our couple that held cups of marshmallows and engraved spoons with the guests names and table assignments to lead them to their "camps" or tables.

In honor of a camp tradition, each place setting featured a personalized Bingo card by Peanut Press. We surprised the wedding party with vintage Bingo cards from Folklore Vintage and started off the reception with a game which carried through dinner and offered the lucky winners a basket of some of the couple's favorite things.

Instead of a traditional photo booth, we created a summer camp memories display for guests to look at throughout the evening. The string of photos featured old memories from camp and was a perfect way to mix the past and present of Erin + Casey's relationship!

Our thermos runneth over with love for this wedding and our sweet couple, Erin + Casey!  We can't wait for all the adventures that are in store for them! Wishing them a lifetime of campfires to cozy up to!

Friday's Features

Is everyone as excited as we are that the three day weekend is beginning?! Do you have big party plans? Over here at Amorology we are getting our ducks in a row for Paige and Cory's big day. We don't want to give too much away on the details, but let's just say if you are a Taylor Swift fan you will be rocking out to this shindig when we share it! If you want a sneak inside check out our pinterest board for them here.

This week had us blushing from all the recent features. Did you catch them? Ceremony blog featured Stephanie and Michael's Mexican beach wedding, and Martha Stewart featured Gina and Craig's whimsical art museum wedding. And then Erin and Casey's wedding was featured on Ruffled! It is always such an honor to see our work make so many people happy!

Also, is anyone else feeling as inspired as we are by all the unique hair colors going on? The soft pink tone above reminds us of some cotton candy hair! Amorology loves color! Why not throw some colorful hair into the mix?!

Real Wedding: Smashing Good Time

If we know one thing..it's that it's not a party unless something breaks! How true the sentiment with this wedding in particular!
Remember that time when we crafted a million mini pinatas and fringified everything we could get our hands on for Stephanie & Michael? How can we forget these two!? We're thrilled to see our Mexican-inspired wedding on the Ceremony Magazine Blog today! This piƱata party was featured in Ceremony Magazine and 100 Layer Cake earlier this year and it's such a treat to look back and remember what a fun fiesta it was with the most lush spring blooms and a seaside view to boot! Stephanie and Michael honored their cultural heritage by getting married on the day before Cinco de Mayo and every detail turned out muy bonita!
Our favorite detail?  It's a toss up!  The pinata escort card wall that reminded guests that it's what's on the inside that counts  had our hearts and soul but the candy table that resembled the spillage from one ginormous pinata had our taste buds!  Enjoy!
